The next round of Busy Bean covers for @sarina.bowen’s World of True North were just revealed! So it’s perfect timing to share a cover close up of Doubletalk by Teralyn Mitchell. My perfectionism goes haywire when it comes to illustrating tattoos, but it’s a labor of love. This guy was a challenge for sure, but I’m pretty darn pleased with how it turned out. 🥰
This beauty is live TODAY! 🎉🥳 You Know it’s Love is the 2nd book in @jenmorrisauthor’s Love in the City series, and it is the quintessential example of how awesome that lady is to collaborate with on design. I would never have thought of these colors together like this, but she had the vision and the way it turned out is one of my favorite designs I’ve ever done. (I know I say that a lot 😂 But for real people, all time top 5)
I’m so behind sharing cover designs! This is from forever ago, @heymelissagrace’s debut novel Home is Where You Are. Look closely for my favorite part (hint: she’s on top of the fridge 😉)
How fun is illustrated @tiniawritesbooks?! The dress! The hair! The glasses! The dog! 😍 Such a fun one to make. (Note: I’m not currently taking on new avatar orders so I can focus on my commissioned cover designs. I’ll let you know when they’re “back in stock” 😉)
The end of the year is a time for reflection, so here’s a roundup of covers I’ve designed this year (mostly...I did my first commissioned cover in November 2019 so 3 of these are technically pre-2020.) I both can’t believe there are 40 and can’t believe there are ONLY 40 😂 I look forward to someday sharing them all with you once the authors have done reveals!
